ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY

Enrolling for the February 2019 Cohort

MODERNIZE STRATEGY

We’ll cover initiatives that are working well so that you have a model for improvement. Coupling innovation with proven practices from leading institutions will give you the tools to design engagement programming that is distinctly your institution.

SHOWCASE VALUE

None of your efforts to boost engagement matter unless you are able to demonstrate impact. You will be led through the process of evaluating the maturity of your engagement strategy against the Wisr Engagement Framework, and you’ll learn how to measure your impact through analytics.

CONNECT WITH PEERS

As part of the course, you’ll gain access to Treehouse, our private online Wisr Academy community. This is where you’ll connect with other alumni relations professionals around the country to post course homework assignments, discuss your top challenges, and source ideas for new engagement tactics.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Whether you want to learn the fundamentals of alumni engagement, take existing initiatives to new heights, or demonstrate your impact to leadership, the Alumni Engagement Strategy certification course will equip you to:

  • Evaluate the maturity of your current engagement strategy
  • Uncover where your data lives and how it flows together
  • Integrate personalization into email messaging
  • Mobilize alumni evangelists through digital communities and social networks
  • Take action to build an engagement dashboard
  • Shed the “party planner” stereotype and establish your department as a strategic value-driver for the institution
